Lukas Henning

He studied with Hopkinson Smith at Schola Cantorum Basiliensis, a leading research and teaching institution on the field of historically informed performance practice, receiving his Master of Arts degree in 2016.
As lutenist he has been performing with various established as well as up-and-coming artists: Graindelavoix, Sollazzo Ensemble, dolce conforto, il gusto barocco, Lauttencompagney Berlin, as well as solo. His debut CD Bella incognita was released on Glossa in 2019.
Since 2017 he has been curating me:mo, a series of video essays on music and art history.
