A cultural manager who graduated in Cultural Studies from the University of Warsaw and Project Management from Warsaw School of Economics. Head of the Polska Music programme at the Adam Mickiewicz Institute.
Creator of the digital project Map of Polish Composers ( www.mapofcomposers.pl ) – the first comprehensive online tool to present the wealth of 20 th - and 21 st -Century Polish classical music in an accessible format. The map places composers in the context of clearly defined cultural trends, demonstrating their mutual influences, inspirations, and interdependencies. The project is an excellent database of knowledge on contemporary Polish music, especially for Polish and foreign artists, critics, artistic directors of cultural institutions, musical event organisers, and researchers.
Co-founder of the group Sutari ( www.sutari.pl ), which has developed its own style and unique sound inspired by Polish traditional music and the sutartinės female vocal technique from Lithuania. The group are active in a variety of cultural settings, ranging from theatre, music and film to performance, and have performed their contemporary interpretations of folk tunes all around the world.
