Creative coding – learn the basics of web page creation

Have you ever wondered how websites are constructed? Or maybe you have your own blog and would like to make changes to the template, but don’t know how? Are you a graphic designer who wants to find out how to bring your projects to life?

These are just some of the reasons why it’s worth coming to The Awwwesomes’ coding workshops for beginners. Discover the magic of coding web pages, and see how enchanting visuals can be programmed on the screen with just a few lines of code.

During the workshops, you will learn:
– the basics of the HTML and CSS languages,
– how to use developer tools in browsers,
– how to add various fonts to a page (web typography),
– how to apply interesting effects using code,
– how to use archive photographs.

The knowledge you acquire will be invaluable in the future, for example as a basis for coding websites, a way to find common ground with programmers, or a tool to modify existing webpage templates.

The workshops will begin with a brief theoretical section on the basics of coding and selected features of HTML and CSS. The second teaching module will be practical, including a lot of exciting exercises in creative coding techniques. Step by step, you will work through the exercises to code the elements of a web page.

Using archive materials will be the main theme of the website you code. On your page, you will place material obtained from various archives and combine it with modern typography that complements the project you have been set.
